All American Picnic Tables was started on Long Island in 2011 and has been building custom picnic tables and enhancing the picnic experience for over a decade. 

After searching far and wide for a picnic table to suit my needs, I was disheartened by the lack of options available and the inferior quality of picnic tables being sold at big box stores.  I found that the options being sold in stores at dirt cheap prices were of a much lower quality than what I expected and often contained broken and splintered pieces making the tables extremely dangerous.  The tables were often produced overseas and lacked the American craftsmanship that I was accustomed to.  The tables I had seen were made with pressure treated wood that looked wet and unattractive.  I became wary about using these mass produced picnic tables around my guests and especially with children.  

After my tireless search for a quality picnic table, I decided to give it a shot making my own.  It became a valuable learning experience for me and after days of cutting, drilling, sanding, and finishing, I finally had a picnic table that I was happy with.  My hard work paid off and resulted in the "perfect" picnic table that I was excited to show off to family and friends. 

Little did I know, my picnic table journey was just beginning.  As family and friends saw my creation, I began to receive more and more questions as to where I bought this picnic table.  I began receiving requests to build picnic tables for family and friends.  Word soon spread to beach clubs, restaurants, parks, and camps about the quality and sturdiness of my picnic tables.

I soon realized that I was not the only person that had trouble finding a picnic table to suit my needs.  I became overwhelmed with the number of requests I was receiving and quickly learned that my old tools and the garage of the house that I was renting at the time would not be sufficient to keep up with the demand.  After upgrading my tools and building my workshop, I decided to expand my little network and make my picnic tables available to everyone. 

As requests for picnic tables grew from my local area to out of state, I made the decision the take my love for quality picnic tables online and offer my tables nationwide. In 2012, AllAmericanPicnicTables.com was born.  I am proud to be an American and can gladly say that I build all of my picnic tables right here in the USA with the American craftsmanship that I am accustomed to. 

Overtime I have discovered the value of the picnic experience and the precious moments that are created with family and friends around the picnic table.  I have become focused on enhancing the picnic experience and am proud to offer a unique line of picnic table accessories to help strengthen those memories created at the picnic table.
